Silabus (IND)  :  Pada kuliah ini akan diberikan pengantar dinamika tanah mengenai teori-teori dasar mekanika vibrasi yang meliputi: jenis-jenis gelombang dan perambatannya pada medium elastik serta pengaruh damping/redaman terhadap perambatan gelombang dan sistem derajat kebebasan tunggal, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan parameter dinamik tanah. Akan diberikan pula pengantar seismologi secara umum mengenai teori lempeng tektonik, mekanisme gempa, focal mechanism/stereonet, intensitas dan magnitude gempa, fungsi atenuasi, parameter gelombang gempa dan parameter seismic hazard. Pengantar rekayasa gempa akan meliputi: hubungan antara resiko terlampaui-umur bangunan-periode ulang gempa, analisis seismic hazard untuk menentukan parameter ground motion (percepatan maksimum dan respon spektra) di batuan dasar dengan pendekatan metode Gumbel dan pengantar mengenai teori probabilitas total, pengaruh kondisi tanah setempat dalam menentukan parameter ground motion dipermukaan tanah dan pengenalan program SHAKE serta pengenalan mengenai aspek praktis dalam rekayasa gempa dalam geoteknik seperti fenomena likuifaksi dan stabilitas dinding penahan tanah akibat beban gempa.

The introduction to earthquake engineering will includes seismic hazard analysis using Gumbel method and total probability theorem, local site effect to ground motion parameter, liquefaction phenomena and stability of retaining wall due to earthquake loading.

The brief introduction to seismology will includes elastic rebound theory, seismic source mechanism, focal mechanism, earthquake intensity, attenuation relationship, seismic wave and seismic hazard parameter. The introduction to earthquake engineering will includes relationship between probability of exceedance-service period-return period, seismic hazard analysis using Gumbel method and total probability theorem, local site effect to ground motion parameter, liquefaction phenomena and stability of retaining wall due to earthquake loading.
